 Senior Placemaking Facilitator 

  • Full-time, three year contract until January 2022
  • Band 8 - $107,673 plus 9.5% superannuation
  • Based in the St Kilda Town Hall

Do you have strong vision to deliver sustainable communities? We seek a confident, enthusiastic communicator with the ability to ‘think outside the square’ and make it happen.

As Senior Placemaking Facilitator, you will participate in, and manage the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives with the Placemaking team within the City of Port Phillip. You will also be responsible for the provision of urban design and planning advice on key strategic sites and strategies. You will work with the Program Director Placemaking, another Senior Placemaking Facilitator and a Placemaking Facilitator to deliver the Placemaking Action Plan.  

To be considered for the position you will have experience in managing placemaking initiatives including events, capturing and analysing data, managing special rates programs, leading community consultation projects, authoring and implementing strategic plans, urban design and project management. You will also have a track record of delivering quality outcomes, preferably in a Local Government context. Some out of hours work will be required due to the nature of the role and meeting the needs of our communities.  A successful application is subject to a satisfactory police record and Working with Children Check.
