- Salary Range Band 6 $95,799 - $104,420 plus 11.5% Super
- Full-time, 6 month temporary role (backfill from August 2024 to February 2025)
- Located at St Kilda Town Hall with flexible working arrangements possible

About the Role
The Building Maintenance team provides core maintenance service delivery to the community and internal stakeholders for all Council assets across the municipality.
This role includes the maintenance of Council properties to ensure they comply with all statutory regulations, standards, and Codes of Practice. The role provides a great opportunity to gain some experience and involvement into one of Council’s core service delivery areas.
What you might do
In this action packed and customer focussed role, no two days will be alike. You will:
- Maintain Council buildings and related services to provide safe and acceptable environments.
- Administer and supervise various Building Maintenance service contracts.
- Update COPP’s OneCouncil building maintenance software requirements.
- Provide high level customer service to internal/external customers.
- Experience in managing service and trade contracts.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills pertaining to building services.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and / or experience of building maintenance services.
- Ability to problem solve on issues related to building maintenance.
- Capability to plan daily and project work requirements.
- Full and valid driver’s licence.
- Relevant tertiary or trade qualification or commensurate experience in building services or facility management.
