Transport Planner 

  • Salary Range Band 6 $95,799 - $104,420 pro rata plus 11.5% Super
  • Permanent Part-time role (0.8) across 4-5 days per week 
  • Located at St Kilda Town Hall with flexible working arrangements possible.

About the Organisation 

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. About the Role

  • Have a flair for project management to enhance the liveability of Port Phillip.

Duties:

  • Develop and deliver projects to improve community travel choices in line with Council’s Move Connect Live Integrated Transport Strategy. 
  • Manage communication and engagement activities to improve uptake of bike riding, walking, shared and public transport by the community. 
  • Develop and manage key datasets, to effectively track the success of projects and programs relating to active and shared travel and public transport. 

Skills and Experience 

  • Experience in project management to deliver transport related projects. 
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake local area and community planning, investigation and analysing transport data and trends. 
  • Ability to understand current transport and travel behaviours and proactively investigate ways to overcome barriers.
