- Salary Range Band 7 $107,570 to $120,376 plus 11.5% Super

Are you ready to be at the heart of shaping an extraordinary workplace? As our Recruitment and Employee Experience Advisor, you won’t just fill vacancies—you’ll transform how we attract, engage, and retain talent across the council. This is a pivotal role where you’ll champion future thinking recruitment strategies, elevate the experience of our people leaders through expert coaching, and take leadership of contract management—both internal and external—to ensure smooth onboarding, compliance, and strong partnerships with recruitment agencies.
You’ll be the strategic partner on key hires across all levels of the organisation, managing and optimizing external recruitment contracts to maximize value, streamline processes, and guarantee a seamless candidate journey. Together with the Recruitment and Employee Experience Officer and the wider People, Culture, and Safety team, you’ll elevate every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle, creating a compelling and consistent experience that sparks pride and commitment.
Reporting directly to the Head of Recruitment, Workforce Systems, and Experience, you’ll lead operational recruitment and champion projects that enhance our people. Your work will help us continue to build a thriving workforce where every leader feels supported, inspired, and equipped to succeed.

What is the City of Port Phillip

Important Pre-Employment Requirements
Prior to a formal letter of offer, preferred applicants will be asked to provide:
- Evidence of mandatory qualifications/registrations/licences
- Sufficient proof of right to work in Australia, and Sufficient proof of identity
- Complete a National Police Check completed via City of Port Phillip’s Provider
- Evidence of a Working with Children Check (employee type with City of Port Phillip registered as the organisation).
