Ticketing & Participation Coordinator – St Kilda Film Festival

  • Salary Range Band 5 $82,356 - $94,961 plus 12% Super
  • Temporary Full time role, 16-week temporary position in support of the St Kilda Film Festival (5 days per week)
  • Located at St Kilda Town Hall or with flexible working arrangements possible.

About the Organisation

About the Role

Proudly presented and produced by the City of Port Phillip, St Kilda Film Festival supports the Australian film industry by turning the spotlight on exceptional films by both emerging talent and short works by accomplished industry professionals with award-winning films eligible for consideration in the Short Film Awards and Documentary Short sections of the Oscars®. Work with a dynamic and experienced team in supporting audience participation, ticketing, front-of-house management, and guestlist coordination for a community-focused, historic festival. 

Duties:

  • Maintain and action invitation lists for key St Kilda Film Festival events, coordinating resulting RSVPs 
  • Coordinate ticketing processes in conjunction with venue partners and/or their ticketing agencies
  • Coordinate hospitality requirements for events based at Council venues
  • Manage box office at Festival venues including ticket sales, professional development day registrations, complementary and VIP ticketing, box office staff supervision, cash handling procedures and customer service
  • Maintain web event and film information via timely updating of digital portals as required 
  • Assist with event delivery

Skills and Experience 

  • In depth knowledge of ticketing and box office operations, accreditation or VIP & guest hospitality functions within an event setting
  • Prior experience in hospitality management
  • Working experience in client or guest management and accreditation within a major events environment
  • Highly developed communication skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and project management
