- Salary Range Band 8 $130,108 - $145,807 plus 12% Super
- An ongoing full time role within the iconic City of Port Phillip
- Based in St Kilda Town Hall with flexible working arrangements possible

About the Role
Join a team that comes together to deliver major improvement to Council’s extensive property portfolio. This exciting role will challenge you to use your specialist knowledge and problem solving skills to deal with unique property challenges that come with being one of the most well-known and iconic landscapes within Australia. Each day you will work on projects and transactions that are varied, complex and make a valued and important community impact.
Duties
- Lead, coach and develop a small, high impact team.
- Deliver real estate development projects – from conceptualisation to completion.
- Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Lead or contribute to due diligence, the identification of development options, feasibility analysis, stakeholder engagement, and planning approvals.
- Work alongside the team to provide quality advice to the Council – including the Executive Leadership Team.
What we’d love to find in you
- You’ll be commercially astute.
- You’ll have a strategic mindset.
- Your experience in property development, major infrastructure projects, or optimising large, complex property portfolios will support your success.
- You are adept at producing high stakes outputs – including board or senior executive level papers, presentations, and strategic advice – that facilitate rapid decision making.
- Being degree or diploma educated – in property or similar.
