- 1-year fixed-term position - backfill for employee on secondment

About the Role
Council is seeking a Coordinator Appeals Administration to lead the day-to-day operations of our parking appeals function. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-performing team responsible for reviewing parking infringement appeals, ensuring legislative compliance, delivering quality outcomes, contract management and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Duties:
- Lead, coach and support a team of appeals officers and administrative staff.
- Oversee the assessment and determination of internal reviews in accordance with legislation, policies and best-practice procedures.
- Monitor team performance, productivity and service delivery outcomes.
- Manage customer escalations, complex appeals and sensitive enquiries.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, enforcement teams and external agencies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and service innovation.
- Prepare financial reports, analyse trends and provide advice to management on risk and compliance matters.
- Ensure a consistent focus on fairness, procedural integrity and community outcomes.

- Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience interpreting legislation, policy frameworks and regulatory requirements.
